松蔭神社の傘みくじ　Out of stock soon!? umbrella fortune at Shoin shrine.

萩・石見空港は島根県・益田市に位置しますが、名前の通り、山口県・萩市に最も近い空港でもあります。

萩市は幕末の雄藩・長州藩時代の名所が各所にあります。
長州藩の偉人・吉田松陰が塾を開いていた松下村塾もその名所の一つですが、
訪れた人は、その狭さに皆、びっくりします。
こんな狭い場所で、わずか１年あまりの間に、あんなに多くの傑出した人物たちを育てたと思うと、吉田松陰の偉大さを感じます。

Hagi-Iwami airport is located in Masuda city, Shimane prefecture,
but as the name points,
it is the nearest airport to historic city, Hagi in Yamaguchi prefecture.
Haig city has many tourist spots because there used be a big domain in 19th century.

Shokasonjuku academy which a great educator, Shoin Yoshida opened is one of the spots.
Every tourists is surprised at the area of the academy.
How narrow it is!
We wonder why he could educate many great men who led Japan to the new era only for a year in such a narrow academy.

また、吉田松陰を祀った松陰神社も、皆が訪れる観光名所になっています。
神社の中には「傘みくじ」という傘の形をしたおみくじがあり、「運が開く」と「傘が開く」をかけています。
他のおみくじと同じように、おみくじを開いた後は、それをくくりつける場所があり、皆がくくりつけた傘みくじは、緑にたくさんの傘が咲いているように見えます。
インスタ映えするスポットでもあるかもしれませんね。

In addition, Shoin shrine which deify Shoin Yoshida is also one of the good tourist spots.
You can get a written oracle whose shape is an umbrella there.
The reason of the shape is that we use same expression in opening an umbrella and in getting a chance(‘opening' a luck in Japanese).
Same as other shrines, We cling written oracles to the green after we see them.
It looks like many umbrella blossom in the green,
and it’s so photogenic!
