老舗和菓子『三松堂』 -the shop of Japanese sweets-

津和野には、日本の伝統的な和菓子店の「三松堂」があります。

 三松堂は津和野町に昭和26年に店を構え、益田市にも支店があります。
和菓子の種類は豊富で、季節に合わせた和菓子も楽しめます。
津和野では、人気のお土産商品として伝統的なお菓子である源氏巻が有名です。
餡の入った日本の伝統的なお菓子はお土産にも最適です。

In Tsuwano, there is a traditional Japanese sweets store, Sannsyoudou.
The shop has been around since 1951, and it has a branch in neighbor city, Masuda.
You can get many kinds of sweets there. Also, you can enjoy eating seasonal sweets.
In Tsuwano, a traditional sweet named Genji-maki which comes from “Tale of Genji" is well known as one of the popular souvenir products.  
It is good for souvenir because you can enjoy Japanese traditional sweets with sweetened bean paste.

また、三松堂では毎月第三月曜日を「あんの日」としています。
その日に訪れると、あんこを使った限定商品を手に入れることができます。
例えば、おはぎが限定商品として並んでいます。
あんこは小豆の豆から作られていて、おはぎはもち米を丸めてあんこで包んだものです。
小豆は悪魔を払うことができると信じられているので、日本人は主にお彼岸におはぎを食べます。
日本の伝統的なお菓子、おはぎをぜひ食べに来てください。とても美味しいですよ！
そのほかにも「あんの日」にはあんこを使った様々な商品があります。

Also, the shop has a special day of Japanese sweets with sweetened beans paste on the third  Monday of every month. 
When you visit on that day, you can buy some special sweets with sweetened beans paste. 
For example, one of the special sweets on the day is Ohagi. 
That is a sticky rice ball covered with sweet red beab paste.  
Basically, Japanese people eat it during equinoctial week because azuki beans is believed that it can keep off evil.
Please come and eat Ohagi, one of the Japanese special traditional sweets!!

There is another special products with azuki beans on the special day.
