珍しい見た目の橋「マリン大橋」 ~"Marine-bridge" has an unusual look~

島根県浜田市には、マリン大橋と呼ばれる斜張橋があります。

この橋は漁業とのふれあいと水産業の発展を目指して開通したそうです。今では浜田のシンボルとしても知られています。
橋の長さは615mで、独特な見た目の主塔の高さはなんと89mもあります。

 There is a cable-stayed bridge called  "Marine-Ohashi" in Hamada.  This bridge was opened to traffic in order to let people have contacts with fishery and to develop the marine products industry.   Now, it is known as the symbol of Hamada.  The length of the bridge is 615m.  Also, the height of the main tower is 89m.

また、橋の周辺にはテニスコートやバスケットゴールもあるので、橋を見ながらスポーツも楽しめます。
そして３月には「マリン大橋リレーマラソン」も開催されるそうですので参加してみるのもいいと思います。

Also, there are many sports courts near the bridge. 
You can play tennis or basketball there. 
And "Marine- Ohashi Relay Marathon" will be held in March.  You can join that!

なにより、浜田漁港では新鮮なお魚を食べたり買ったりすることができます。とれたての魚は言葉では言い表せないくらい美味しいです。海外では魚を生で食べる習慣がないので良い機会になると思います。

Above all, you can eat or buy fresh fish such as horse mackerels and nodoguro(premium fish) in Hamada Fishing Port. 
Fresh fish is so delicious that it cannot be expressed with words. 
It is a good opportunity for you to eat raw fish.

 益田市からは少し離れていますが、浜田にはマリン大橋以外にも多くの観光地があります。例えば、水族館”アクアス”や石見海浜公園など楽しめる場所がたくさんあります。ぜひ訪問してみてください！！
Hamada is a bit far from Masuda city , but Hamada has a lot of tourist sites except Marine- Ohashi.  For example, aquarium "AQUAS", Iwami Seaside Park.  Please visit there!
